HEIC conversion workspace

iPhone photos decode locally with a WASM build of libheif (~3 MB, downloaded once and cached).

Local processing

Processed in this tab. File bytes are not uploaded. How local processing works

Supports standard single-image HEIC/HEIF files from iPhone and other cameras. Live Photos, image sequences, and some HDR variants may not decode — the tool says so honestly rather than producing a broken file.

Free, no upload — pass it on:

FAQ

Are my photos uploaded?
No. A local HEIC decoder (~4 MB) downloads once from this site, then photos decode in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.
Which output formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, and WebP. JPG is the default since most upload forms and printers accept it.
Which HEIC files work?
Standard single-image HEIC/HEIF photos, including iPhone shots. Live Photos, image sequences, and some HDR variants may not decode — the tool reports failures honestly.
Does quality change?
JPG output is encoded at 92% quality. Choose PNG for lossless output at a larger file size.

Processing runs locally in your browser — no upload. Outputs are generated on-device. For the privacy boundary see the local processing guide.
